Philadelphia released its Philly Tree Plan on February 23rd, 2023. This is a 10-year plan that is intended to reverse the loss of Philadelphia’s urban forest. Between 2008 and 2018 Philadelphia lost about 1,000 Football fields worth of tree canopy.
